Valentine High School has a whole new sound this year. Band director Tammy Russell is looking forward to seeing what her band students are capable of and has noticed a great improvement since the previous year. She’s also excited about the new uniforms the drum majors and flag corps girls have, and the band students have new uniforms to look forward to next fall.
The VHS band will be traveling to Kearney this Saturday, September 24th. Mrs. Russell will be taking 40 band members to participate in the annual UNK Homecoming Parade. Valentine will be one of 23 schools marching that day. Best of luck to the VHS band!
